Photography Services Agreement
This Photography Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Caitlin Onie Studio (“Photographer”) and the individual or organization booking photography services (“Client”).
By booking a session with Caitlin Onie Studio, Client acknowledges that they have reviewed, understand, and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Session Reservation
A photography session is not considered reserved until:
The required retainer/payment has been received; and
Client has accepted this Agreement.
The retainer reserves Photographer’s time, preparation, and creative services for the scheduled session date. Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferable toward one approved rescheduled session in accordance with this Agreement.
2. Payment Terms
Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon session fee listed at the time of booking.
Any remaining balance must be paid before final images are delivered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Additional services, including but not limited to additional images, prints, expedited delivery, location fees, travel fees, or additional shooting time, may require additional payment.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Client understands that booking a photography session requires Photographer to reserve time exclusively for Client.
If Client needs to reschedule, they must provide notice as soon as possible.
Caitlin Onie Studio will make reasonable efforts to accommodate one rescheduled session based on availability.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice may result in forfeiture of the retainer and require a new booking fee.
4. Photographer Style & Creative Approach
Client acknowledges that they have reviewed Photographer’s portfolio and understands the artistic style, editing approach, and creative direction of Caitlin Onie Studio.
Client understands that:
Photography involves creative interpretation;
Final images may vary from examples shown online;
Photographer maintains creative control over artistic decisions, including composition, lighting, editing, and final image selection.
5. Image Selection & Delivery
Client will receive final edited images according to the package selected at booking.
Delivery timelines may vary depending on workload, season, and project scope.
Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated during booking.
Photographer reserves the right to select and edit final images that best represent the quality and artistic style of Caitlin Onie Studio.
RAW/unprocessed image files are not included unless specifically purchased through an additional agreement.
6. Copyright & Image Usage Rights
Caitlin Onie Studio retains all copyright ownership of photographs created during the session.
Client receives a personal-use license allowing them to:
Download and share purchased images;
Print images for personal use;
Share images on personal social media accounts with photographer credit when possible.
Client may not:
Sell photographs;
Alter or heavily edit photographs;
Use images for commercial purposes without written permission;
Claim ownership or authorship of photographs.
Commercial usage, advertising, branding campaigns, or business use requires a separate licensing agreement.
7. Model Release & Portfolio Usage
Client grants Caitlin Onie Studio permission to use photographs created during the session for:
Portfolio purposes;
Website display;
Social media;
Marketing materials;
Promotional content.
If Client does not wish for images to be used publicly, Client must communicate this request in writing before the session.
8. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Arrive prepared and on time;
Communicate desired expectations before the session;
Provide accurate booking information;
Follow safety instructions during the session.
Late arrivals may reduce shooting time and will not guarantee an extended session.
9. Equipment Failure & Unforeseen Circumstances
Photographer will take reasonable precautions to provide professional services.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, emergency, or circumstances outside Photographer’s control, Photographer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session or provide an appropriate resolution.
10. Liability
Client agrees that participation in photography services involves normal risks associated with being photographed in various environments.
Client releases Caitlin Onie Studio from liability for injuries or damages occurring during the session except where caused by Photographer’s negligence.
11. Agreement Acceptance
By booking a photography session with Caitlin Onie Studio, Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Photography Services Agreement.
Client understands that booking confirmation constitutes acceptance of these terms.

By accessing and using this website, users agree to abide by these terms and conditions regarding the use of images and content. Caitlin Onie LLC. reserves the right to modify, update, or change these terms at any time without prior notice.
